Rock out with Preval: Guitar Touch Up DIY

It’s almost the weekend folks.  Are you ready to rock out?  Today’s color endeavor is playing your song!

Do you have a favorite guitar or other instrument that could use a touch up?  Our friend Steve did.  Thankfully we were able to give him a hand with his project to get his black guitar rocking like it should.

Steve had a bit of fender bender with his favorite guitar and it ended up with a nasty scratch on the side.  However with help from the Preval Sprayer, it didn’t take long for him to get his beloved friend not only back to the shape it was before but even better.

For this project you will need:

  • A well ventilated area
  • A place where your instrument can be left to dry for the process
  • The Preval Sprayer
  • Sandpaper
  • Masking Tape
  • Paper
  • Lacquer
  • Lacquer thinner
  • and Pigment

Gather your materials and take a look at the video below to see just how easy this fix can be!

Have you used one of our Preval Sprayers on one of your instruments?  We’d love to see your work!  Leave us a comment here or show it off to us on Twitter with the tag #PrevalRocker so we can be sure to hear your tunes!  Speaking of tunes, we hope you will continue to stay tuned both here on our blog and to our Youtube channel for more DIYs and info on all the awesome things you can do with our rocking line of Preval products and spray systems!
